Some years ago when working for Lloyds Bank I had the opportunity to attend an Employee Assessment Centre and after undertaking a series of tests and observed role-plays –one of the roles that they suggested was that of a trainer. Boom it was a light bulb moment I had always enjoyed being involved in training new colleagues so I set about acquiring the skills and branch based experience in order to become a Trainer. Since then I have been involved in numerous training events from basic induction through to changing behaviour and processes as a result a Management Change initiative which provided me with an understanding of the change management process and how to support managers and staff through this process.
